Why are there two src folders in my my Spring Boot Maven Application?

I just added a .jsp view to a path named src/WebAPP/Web-Inf/jsp/

If you look at the image I inserted below I labeled the two src folders as 1 and 2, I added my .jsp to 2. I have no idea why I put it there instead of up in 1. Why are there 2 similar looking folder structures in this maven project? Thanks!
